Target audience is a specific group of people a company or in this case a film is aimed at. A target audience can be formed of people of a certain age group, gender for example, teenagers, men, female. They can also have a combination such as women in their early twenties.
As we are looking at thrillers the main target audience is young adults, if you want to cut it down to a specific age it would depend on the sub genre.
