Genre and Sub-genre

Today, we looked into sub-genres of Thrillers. We learned all the different types

1. Comedy Thriller (Scary Movie)
2. Horror Thriller (The Shining)
3. Sci-Fi Thriller (Alien)
4. Psychological Thriller (The Bunker)
5. Action Thriller (Deja Vu)
6. Romance Thriller (He Loves me, He Loves Me Not)
7. Political Thriller (Law Abiding Citizen)
8. Supernatural Thriller (The Others)

Thrillers are often cross genre films and i believe this is because the genre "Thriller" is such a huge basis to go by with a lot of possibilities to create a good film. All of these films above have a "Thriller" feeling to them with a sub genre which shows through the movie.
