Film Genre & The Cinema In 2010

After looking through the FDA yearbooks to find out some statistics and general information, these were my findings:

• In 2010, 38 suspense films were realeased.
• In total, gross, to the nearest million, these suspense films took £4 million.
• The genre of film that had the highest gross in 2010 was action/adventure.

When comparing the figures for suspense genre films and other film genres in 2010, suspense films come fifth in terms of how many were made. Suspense films dont necessarily make more money than other genres and nor do they take up a massive percentage of the years box office.
